As a workshop, you can experience daily drawing together with the artist himself to create abstract expressions born from everyday life. You can take home your drawings. You can pre-order some of Francis’ works at the studio.
The time I spent with Francis Shingo, a contemporary artist who is attracting attention by creating a viewing experience that wraps around the entire space, even though it is a painting, made me realize once again the depth of art. Be sure to capture your memories in photos along with your work.

Yamada Family Fushinan Tea Ceremony Hall
Yamada Sohen-ryu Fushinan is a school of tea ceremony that began with the tea master Sohen Yamada in the early Edo period. Currently, the head office is located in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, where it stands quietly in a quiet place far from the hustle and bustle of the city. With WabiYoga, which incorporates traditional etiquette and the spirit of the tea ceremony, you will learn how to build a strong, supple body and beautiful posture. After exercising, refresh yourself with sweets and matcha tea while looking out at the open field.

Black Cube Appreciation
Black Cube is a burnt-out old folk house that stands in a corner of Fushinan. The 100-year-old traditional house, which was reduced to charcoal in a fire but remained intact, is now decorated with contemporary art pieces collected by the head of the house. Black Cube’s appearance itself is a work of art. Guided by an art advisor, please enjoy the “one-of-a-kind” space that can only be experienced here.
